Geri DeSousa brings a whole new meaning to "fine art photography" with a style that truly sets her apart from others.

Geri has recently relocated from New England to her new home in Kershaw County, South Carolina with her husband and four legged family members. With nearly ten years of experience, she has managed to become an award winning photographer, having worked with and studied under some of the most renowned photographers of our day.

With my having a back ground in fine art studies and kinesiology, I can attest to the brilliant work of which this artist is capable. Her talent is most evident in her work with special needs children, bringing to her photographs a sensitivity that is truly inspiring. Her feel for revealing the true spirit of the horse in motion and in her still photos can bring me to my knees.

Whether it be a wedding, a horse show, or a child's birthday party, this artist will stun you with her portrayal of her subjects. She has the ability to capture the fiery passion of a horse, in all it's being and all the brilliance and majesty it was meant to be. Some people only dream of greatness. This humble artist has truly accomplished her goal, and her work is living proof. South Carolina is truly blessed to have her, and I am proud to know and call her my friend.
