I have been taking pictures since I was 11 years old. My parents had to put a limit on how many rolls I could take a week! I would save my allowance to buy film and processing.

Although I always photographed everything , I started to do portraits and small jobs for fellow competitors when I showed dogs. I really got started when my daughter started showing horses. That was my spring board.

I was extremely fortunate to train under teacher and mentor Corrina Raznikoff, working with her for nearly a year, as well as teacher and mentor Richard Souza. I worked with him for over a year, sharing a studio, before going on my own. (I owned my business for 10 years before relocating to SC.) Both mentors are well known and well respected , extremely talented photographers. They taught me so much and I am grateful for both of them helping me to succeed. I also worked as a veterinary technician for 15 years. This is where I received my invaluable training with animals.

Taking pictures is my passion. I get excited every time I hear the shutter go off. It makes me happy and feeds my soul. I can’t imagine my life without the ability to create and being able to document life.

I do individual portraits & sessions, shows , events, weddings, and I do work for many non prophets. I also do ads and some graphic design for clients when asked.

I like to capture real life. My style is laid back and unassuming capturing and documenting ... life, honesty, love all the emotions and truth.

I photograph anywhere that I need to, Indoors, outdoors. Currently I am working in the Cassatt, Camden, Lugoff areas as well as jobs in Columbia and Charleston but will travel wherever the next job will take me. I work for the Carolina Cup Racing Association. As well as non profits (Kershaw County Free Medical Clinic, Fine Arts Museum, Historic Camden and the Walter J Crowe Animal Shelter. Along with television ads, my work can be seen in Southern Living Magazine, Go Magazine, Southern Parent, The Current & Chronicle, local papers as well as The State newspaper. And Horse Talk Magazine along with other Free Bird Times Publications.

I am blessed to live on a beautiful farm in Cassatt, SC with a wonderful husband. We have horses, dogs, cats, goats, ducks and a pig named Julius. It is my safe haven. I also garden and sew, and love to ride. I enjoy entertaining, sharing my home with friends & family.
